Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The logo of PyCharm, an integrated development environment for Python, consists of a black square symbol with the white letters “PC” and a short horizontal line at the bottom. Behind the square are overlapping geometric shapes with rounded corners and color gradients ranging from light blue and turquoise green to bright yellow. In the full horizontal version, the PyCharm name appears to the right of the graphic symbol in black lettering. This logo structure is part of the broader visual system for JetBrains products, in which individual IDEs received black square icons with abbreviated labels and colorful backgrounds. In 2015, PyCharm’s visual design was significantly updated along with JetBrains’ brand identity, and the icon design was later refined as part of updates to the company’s unified product icon system.

PyCharm is an integrated development environment developed by JetBrains s.r.o., a Czech company specializing in software tools for developers. The first version, PyCharm 1.0, was released in 2010 and was focused on Python development, including work with Django. Today, the IDE is used for Python programming, web development, data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence projects. PyCharm supports Jupyter, version control systems, databases, Django, Flask, FastAPI, and other tools in the Python ecosystem. Since 2025, JetBrains has developed PyCharm as a single product rather than maintaining the previous split between Community Edition and Professional Edition: core features are available for free, while an extended set of features is provided in PyCharm Pro.
