The Rosneft logo features a distinctive design with seven black vertical segments at the top and three gold segments at the bottom. The varied-height elements are centered to create a disciplined geometric structure. Beneath it is the company name in a sans-serif font. In 2022, Rosneft registered an updated version of the logo where the black segments include a gradient. However, the visual identity remains unchanged — the new mark has not yet been implemented in communications, and a full rebrand is not planned.
PJSC Rosneft is Russia’s largest state-owned oil and gas company, founded in 1993 and publicly listed in 1995. It operates across the entire value chain—from exploration and production to refining, transportation and sales of hydrocarbons. In 2013, Rosneft acquired TNK‑BP, reinforcing its position as a global leader among public oil companies. Its main assets are located in Eastern and Western Siberia, the Far East and the Arctic. The company is advancing major projects such as Vostok Oil and heavily investing in digital and environmental initiatives. It has been led by Igor Sechin since 2012.
