The logo-emblem of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the federal executive body responsible for internal affairs, is a heraldic sign with a double-headed eagle and a round shield on its chest. In the flat color version, the eagle is shown in a yellow-gold palette with black detailing, spread wings, three crowns, a scepter in one claw and an orb in the other. On the eagle’s chest there is a round shield showing a warrior on foot striking a dragon with a spear, set against the colors of the State Flag of the Russian Federation. The shield is placed over two crossed swords and framed by laurel branches. A black-and-white version of the emblem is also used, as well as a version with metallic gradient fills.
