The logo of SberBank, Russia’s largest bank, consists of a signature ring-shaped symbol and the brand name. The symbol features an open ring with a gradient running from blue through yellow to green, with a green check mark inside, while the bank’s name is written next to it in green uppercase letters in the corporate typeface, either with a space between the two parts or arranged on two lines in the compact version. The current logo appeared after the major brand update in 2020. The new design retained continuity with the previous symbol, while the ring shape and the graphic mark with the check mark remained the basis of the brand identity. In the banking version of the brand, the name «SberBank» is used specifically, and this logo is applied to banking products and services, in the design of branches and ATMs, on cards, on the bank’s website, and in the «SberBank Online» app.
SberBank is a Russian bank whose history goes back to the savings offices established by decree of Emperor Nicholas I on November 12, 1841. Today, PJSC «Sberbank» describes itself as the largest bank in Russia, Central and Eastern Europe, and one of the leading international financial institutions. The bank works with private customers and businesses, developing loans, deposits, cards, payment services, investment and insurance products, as well as digital products connected with the Sber ecosystem. Over its long history, the brand has evolved from pre-revolutionary savings offices and the Soviet savings system into a major financial and technology group with updated branding and the shorter «Sber» name.
