The Seagate logo, used for a brand of hard drives, SSDs, and data storage systems, consists of a green graphic mark and a wordmark. The mark is made in a solid light green color and looks like a spiral shape in perspective, with a readable letter «S» inside. Its overall silhouette resembles a simplified side view of a spiral galaxy: a wide curved line twists toward the center, while the outer contour goes downward and ends with a straight cut. In the horizontal version, the mark is placed to the left of the brand name, and in the vertical version, above it. The wordmark is set in gray uppercase letters, in a sans-serif typeface, with wide spacing between the letters.
