Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The SEGA logo is a recognizable blue rendering of the company name in uppercase letters, using a font based on Yagi Double with distinctive inner lines separating the fill. This design first appeared in the mid-1970s and became the company’s primary visual symbol in 1982. Since then, the logo has remained largely unchanged. The logo color varies by region: a lighter blue is used in Japan, and a darker blue is used internationally. The name SEGA comes from the abbreviation of “Service Games”, the name under which the company was originally established.

SEGA is a Japanese company founded in 1960, with roots in the American business of supplying arcade machines to military bases in Japan. From the late 1970s, the company actively developed as an arcade game manufacturer and entered the home console market in the 1980s. One of its most successful periods came with the release of the Master System and especially the Mega Drive (known as Genesis in the US), which brought SEGA global recognition. During this era, SEGA introduced its flagship game franchise — Sonic the Hedgehog, who became a cultural icon and the company’s mascot. In the early 2000s, SEGA stopped producing its own consoles (the last being the Dreamcast) and shifted fully to game development and publishing. In 2004, SEGA merged with Sammy Corporation to form Sega Sammy Holdings. Today, the company owns and develops many major game franchises such as Sonic, Yakuza (Like a Dragon), Total War, Persona (via its subsidiary Atlus), and others. SEGA operates globally and remains one of the leading players in the digital entertainment industry.
