The Trello logo, for the task and project management service, consists of a blue square symbol with strongly rounded corners and two white vertical rectangles inside. The rectangles also have rounded corners, are positioned parallel to each other, and are aligned along their top edges, with the left rectangle longer than the right. The icon can be used on its own, while in the full horizontal and vertical versions it is accompanied by the Trello name in dark lettering. During an early stage of development in 2011, the product prototype was called Trellis, and the name Trello was chosen before its public launch. Over time, the symbol and the brand graphics have been refined while retaining the recognizable composition of two vertical elements.
