The Truist logo, representing an American bank, consists of the brand name and a square monogram. The TRUIST wordmark is set in large uppercase sans-serif letters, each custom-designed specifically for the logo. To the right is a square frame with heavily rounded corners. Inside it, two T letters are rotated 90 degrees in opposite directions: one is oriented to the left and the other to the right, together forming a symmetrical symbol. The two Ts stand for Touch + Technology, while the rounded square is associated with security and accessibility. The primary Truist Purple color was created by combining BB&T’s burgundy with SunTrust’s blue, while a white version of the logo is used on dark backgrounds. The name Truist was chosen in 2019 as the new unified brand following the merger of BB&T and SunTrust, and the current logo was unveiled in January 2020.
