Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The YooKassa logo features a stylized letter “Ю”, composed of two geometric elements: a vertical blue segment on the left and a circular ring on the right, forming a rounded shape. On the right side, the word “kassa” in Latin letters may be added. This version appeared after the 2020 rebranding, when the payment service Yandex.Checkout was renamed to YooKassa and unified under the YooMoney brand. The logo is used across official platforms, interfaces and promotional materials, reflecting the service’s digital orientation and continuity within the ecosystem.

YooKassa is an online payment acceptance service provided by the non-bank credit institution “YooMoney LLC”, the same organization that operates the YooMoney payment service (formerly Yandex.Money). The platform has been operating since 2013 and offers solutions for businesses of any size, including payments by bank cards, electronic wallets, the Faster Payments System, and contactless services such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. YooKassa is widely used in e-commerce, marketplaces and mobile applications, ensures compliance with legislation (including Federal Law 54), and provides tools for automation, analytics and fund withdrawals.

Interesting fact about the Apple logo

The first Apple logo, depicting Newton under an apple tree, was created in 1976 by company co-founder Ronald Wayne. The Nike logo — the famous “Swoosh” — was designed in 1971 by design student Carolyn Davidson. She received only $35 for her work. Co-founder Phil Knight admitted that he didn’t particularly like the logo, but that he would “get used to it over time.” Later, when Nike became a successful brand, Carolyn received a gold ring with the logo and company shares in gratitude, which made her a millionaire.

When the perfect domain is taken, eBay is born

The company was originally called Echo Bay Technology Group — named after a picturesque bay near founder Pierre Omidyar’s home. But the domain echobay.com was already taken (by a gold mining company), so Omidyar simply shortened it to ebay.com.
