The NordStar airline logo combines the company’s name with a graphic element that resembles a spinning turbine or a snowflake. This element highlights movement and dynamism, which perfectly aligns with the aviation industry, while also evoking the cold climate of Siberia and the Russian Far East. The logo is designed in dark and light blue tones, enhancing associations with coldness and reliability. This design looks harmonious across various media, including aircraft and advertising materials, and makes the company easily recognizable.
NordStar was founded in 2008 with the creation of its trademark and a separate legal entity based on JSC “Taimyr Airlines”. In 2016, the company underwent reorganization and adopted a new legal name — NordStar Airlines JSC. During its initial development, the company focused on ensuring reliable and uninterrupted air service between major Russian cities and the Norilsk industrial region. Since 2011, NordStar has been the main airline of Krasnoyarsk Krai, connecting large cities in the region with neighboring areas and serving an important social function by providing air links to remote northern settlements.
