The Google Meet logo, used for Google’s video meetings and video calling service, is designed as a video camera icon. The current version is based on a yellow-orange gradient palette: the main shape is a large yellow body with softly rounded edges, with a white circular dot in the lower left area, and a large orange triangular camera lens on the right. Previously, in 2020, Meet adopted a four-color icon in the Google Workspace style, and in 2026 the logo mark was updated to a gradient version with a more unified color scheme. The name Meet comes from the English word meet, meaning “to meet” or “a meeting”, which is directly connected to the purpose of the service.
Google Meet is an online meeting, video conferencing, and video calling service from the American company Google. It works in browsers and mobile apps, allows users to create meetings by link, invite participants, share their screen, use chat, captions, and other features, some of which depend on the plan and account settings. The service is part of the Google Workspace ecosystem and is connected with Google Calendar, Gmail, and other work tools from the company. In 2022, Google began bringing Duo and Meet together under the Google Meet brand to provide one solution for personal video calls and work-related online meetings.
