The Google Meet logo, Google’s video meetings and video calling service, is designed as a video camera mark in Google’s brand palette: the base is a square, multi-color frame with rounded corners and a beveled top-left edge, built from blocks of blue, red, yellow, and green along with their intermediate shades. On the right, a green triangular element is overlaid on the frame, forming the camera silhouette. This multi-color mark became established after the Google Workspace visual system update in fall 2020, when Google introduced a unified visual style across its Workspace services. The name Meet uses the English word “meet”, which matches the purpose of the service.
Google Meet is Google’s service for online meetings, video conferencing, and video calls, available in a browser and in mobile apps. It is part of the Google Workspace ecosystem and supports common video-meeting scenarios: creating and joining via a link, inviting participants, screen sharing, captions, and other features, some of which depend on the plan. Meet is closely integrated with other Google products: for example, a video meeting can be added to a Google Calendar event and used alongside other Workspace tools. In 2022, Google also began merging the consumer video calling services Duo and Meet under the Meet brand to use a single solution for calls and meetings.
