The logo of restore:, a consumer electronics and technology retail chain, consists of the brand name set in bold, lowercase sans-serif letters. A colon is placed at the end of the name. All elements of the logo are rendered in a single color: black on a light background or white on a dark background. The letters have a bold, rounded appearance. In 2023, the chain significantly changed its visual identity for the first time in 18 years: the previous two-color re:Store logo, with the colon within the name, was replaced by the monochrome restore: wordmark, with the colon at the end. Moving the colon was associated with the chain’s transition from a predominantly single-brand model to a multi-brand format and emphasized the brand’s openness to change and experimentation. The ONY and Signal agencies were responsible for the new visual identity and logo.
