The FlyArystan airline logo consists of a graphic depiction of a lion’s head and the brand name. On the left is a red lion’s head facing right, with a large mane, and below it is a broad dark blue curved element. In the wordmark, Fly is dark blue and Arystan is red, with the letters “F” and “A” capitalized. The name combines the English word “Fly”, meaning “to fly”, and the word “Arystan”, which means “lion” in Kazakh, so the image of the lion’s head is directly connected to the airline’s name. This brand identity has been used since the launch of the brand and also appears on FlyArystan aircraft, including on the tail fin. On dark backgrounds, the logo can be used in white.
FlyArystan is a Kazakh low-cost airline and a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Astana. The brand was introduced in November 2018, and scheduled flights began in May 2019. FlyArystan became Kazakhstan’s first low-cost carrier and began operations with two Airbus A320 aircraft, initially focusing on domestic routes before expanding its network to international destinations. In 2024, the airline received its own Air Operator Certificate, and since January 2025 its flights have operated under its own IATA code, FS. By the end of 2025, FlyArystan’s fleet comprised 28 Airbus A320 family aircraft, and in October of the same year the airline carried its 20 millionth passenger.
