The logo of the Afisha service consists of a text representation of the name, written in lowercase letters in the brand’s signature red color. The letters are wide in proportion and visually more square, built mainly from vertical and horizontal elements with neat rounded corners in certain places, which softens the shapes without breaking their geometric structure. The typeface is sans-serif with tight letter spacing, making the wordmark appear solid and confident. A separate icon may also be used, featuring the letter “a” placed on a red background. Over the years the brand has retained its red color and the overall structure of the logo, changing only the letterforms and gradually simplifying them, which led to the current version with clean contours and expressive typography based on the familiar Russian word “афиша”.
Afisha is a Russian media project and online service focused on urban entertainment, cultural events, cinema, concerts, gastronomy and various city activities. The project emerged in the late 1990s as a magazine about urban culture and quickly became one of the leading guides to events. Over time it evolved into a major digital platform with an active editorial team, its own reviews, selections and recommendations. As part of Rambler&Co, the service combines media content with a convenient tool for discovering events and purchasing tickets, maintaining its status as one of the most recognizable city media brands in Russia.
