The Baskin-Robbins logo features large letters B and R combined into a monogram in rich chocolate brown and bright pink colors. The pink parts of the letters still cleverly hide the number “31”, referencing the brand’s famous concept — 31 ice cream flavors, one for each day of the month. The updated logo was introduced in 2022 and became the first major redesign in nearly 20 years. The design is now more refined, balanced, and minimal in form, with a focus on modernity while preserving historical brand elements. The new identity keeps the visual play with the number, emphasizing continuity and recognition.
Baskin-Robbins is the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty cafes, founded in 1945 by Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins in Glendale, California. After merging their independent shops, they introduced the then-innovative concept of offering 31 different ice cream flavors — a marketing sensation. The brand rapidly expanded through a franchise model and became international by the mid-20th century. Today, Baskin-Robbins has over 7,800 locations in more than 50 countries. In 2020, the company joined Inspire Brands, a U.S. holding that also owns Dunkin’, Arby’s, Sonic, and others. The 2022 rebrand introduced the new slogan “Seize the Yay” and expanded the product range to include desserts, drinks, and branded merchandise. Despite the broadened offerings and updated style, the company remains focused on its core product — ice cream — offering hundreds of flavors including both classics and seasonal specials.
