The logo of BBC consists of three black squares, each containing a capital letter: B B C, in white. Since 2021, the corporate font Reith Sans has been used—a typographic style developed to enhance readability and unify visual identity across digital and print media. It replaced the previous font, Gill Sans, used since 1997. The spacing between letters was slightly increased, but the overall composition and structure remain unchanged. This approach preserved logo recognition while adapting it to modern media formats. The BBC logo contains no additional graphic elements, remaining restrained and functional.
BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) is the United Kingdom’s largest public broadcaster, established in 1922. It is funded by a mandatory television license fee paid by UK households, and it operates independently of advertising and commercial interests. BBC provides a wide range of content: news and factual programs, documentaries and dramas, radio, and online services, including the BBC iPlayer platform. The organisation broadcasts in dozens of languages and maintains its international audience through the BBC World Service. For over a century, BBC has shaped journalistic and media standards, remaining an authoritative source of information worldwide.
