The Boeing logo is a combination of the company’s name in text and a graphic symbol that includes a ring representing the Earth. It is diagonally crossed by an elegant curved line, and next to it is an elongated triangular shape with a smoothly inward-curved outline, which can be perceived as the silhouette of a flying airplane. This design was adopted after the merger of Boeing with McDonnell Douglas in 1997 and became a combination of the graphic elements of both companies. Since then, the logo has retained its recognizable appearance: the corporate blue color, the slanted font of the name, and the symbol reflecting the global scale and aviation focus of Boeing’s activities.
