The Diageo international alcoholic beverages company logo is designed as a textual representation of the brand name and contains no additional graphic symbols. In the current version, the name is set in uppercase black letters using a sans-serif typeface with uniform line thickness. A distinctive feature of the typographic design is the letter “A”, whose crossbar is executed as a curved, arched line. The text is arranged horizontally and used as a standalone mark across all brand communications, maintaining consistent lettering and proportions over recent years.
Diageo plc was formed in 1997 through the merger of Guinness plc and Grand Metropolitan and is today one of the world’s largest producers of alcoholic beverages. The group’s portfolio includes well-known international brands of whisky, rum, gin, vodka, liqueurs, and beer, including Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Baileys, Guinness, and others. The company operates in more than 180 countries, combining global management with the development of local markets. Diageo manages its brands as long-term assets, focusing on quality control, product origin, and sustainable business development.
