Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The IBM logo is a strict abbreviation of three capital letters, executed in a signature graphic style with horizontal stripes. The current version was designed in 1972 by Paul Rand and consists of eight blue or black stripes forming the letters I, B, and M. This minimalist technique gives the logo a sense of technological dynamism and high recognizability. The blue tone known as IBM Blue is considered the brand’s official color, but the company often uses a black-and-white version as well—especially on its website and digital media. Despite past redesigns, the logo has remained virtually unchanged since the 1970s and is seen as a symbol of technological rigor, stability, and innovation.
