Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The Loom logo, for a screen recording and video messaging service, consists of a blue square symbol with strongly rounded corners and twelve broad white rays arranged radially in a circle. In the full horizontal and vertical versions, the symbol is accompanied by the Loom name written in lowercase letters. On light backgrounds, the name appears in a dark color, while a white version is used on dark backgrounds, with the blue graphic symbol remaining unchanged. The icon can also be used on its own. The name Loom was chosen in 2017 after the previous name Opentest and is connected to the English word “loom,” meaning a weaving machine. The founders associated the name with the idea of “weaving” conversations together through video. In 2020, Loom carried out a major overhaul of its brand identity and the product’s visual design, and after becoming part of Atlassian, the radial symbol continued to be used as the service’s primary symbol.

Loom is a software service for video communication created in the United States in late 2015 by Joe Thomas, Vinay Hiremath, and Shahed Khan. The product allows users to record their screen, camera, and microphone simultaneously, quickly get a link to the finished video, and use these recordings for work updates, feedback, instructions, training, and collaboration. Over time, Loom added video editing, comments, transcriptions, automatic titles and concise summaries, artificial intelligence features, meeting recording, and note-taking for meetings. Atlassian completed its acquisition of Loom in November 2023, after which the service became part of the Atlassian product ecosystem and gained deeper integration with Jira, Confluence, and other tools for teamwork.
