The Lorch logo, representing a manufacturer of welding equipment and welding automation solutions, consists of the brand name and the tagline “smart welding”. The main lettering is set in very large, bold, uppercase sans-serif letters, while the tagline is set in much smaller lowercase letters with increased spacing. On a transparent or light background, all elements appear in a red-orange color. Another version places the entire logo in white on a solid red rectangular background.
Lorch Schweißtechnik GmbH is a German company founded by Bruno Lorch in 1957 in Fellbach near Stuttgart, and the brand name comes from his surname. In 1958, the company introduced its first portable electrode welding machine. Today, Lorch manufactures equipment for MIG/MAG, TIG, and MMA welding, welding torches, robotic and collaborative welding systems, as well as digital solutions for managing, monitoring, and optimizing welding processes. Production takes place in Germany, and Lorch products are supplied to more than 60 countries worldwide.
