The MAHLE logo, used by the automotive components manufacturer, consists of the brand name rendered in large, heavy uppercase sans-serif letters. All five letters are built from broad straight elements with right angles and rectangular inner spaces, giving the wordmark a precise geometric structure. The primary version is dark blue, while a white version is also used on dark backgrounds. The name MAHLE comes from the surname of the brothers Hermann and Ernst Mahle, who played a key role in the company’s development. In 1938, the company was reorganized as MAHLE KG, and the corporate wordmark introduced at that time has remained almost unchanged ever since.
