The Moschino logo displays the brand’s name in solid uppercase letters in a bold, condensed sans‑serif font on a white background. The tightly spaced characters and lack of decorative elements emphasize a clear, direct representation of the name. This lettering style has remained unchanged since the brand’s founding and serves as its visual hallmark, offering graphic precision to contrast the creative freedom of Moschino’s collections.
Moschino was founded in 1983 in Milan by designer Franco Moschino as a fashion house specializing in clothing, footwear and accessories. From the start it stood out for its satirical and critical take on the fashion industry, featuring collections with ironic slogans, unusual cuts and pop‑culture elements. Moschino embraced prints, parodies of luxury labels and unconventional forms, making it both recognizable and popular. After the founder’s death in 1994, Rossella Jardini led the creative direction, and from 2013 to 2023 Jeremy Scott intensified the brand’s provocative flair. In 2024, Adrian Appiolaza was appointed creative director, continuing the brand’s legacy of playful reinvention.
