The N26 logo, for the German digital bank, is built around the written name made from the letter N and the number 26. In the main version, the wordmark is black: on the left there is a large letter N, with two short horizontal lines placed at a distance above and below it, while the number 26 is positioned on the right. For the app and compact digital media, an icon is used on a turquoise-green background with strongly rounded corners, where the white N26 lettering is placed in the center. In the 2018 identity update, the logo became more rounded, and the forms of the mark and lettering were made visually stronger to improve readability on different backgrounds and in different color versions. The name N26 is connected with the earlier name Number26, under which the project developed before moving to the shorter N26 brand.
N26 is a German mobile bank and fintech company founded in 2013 in Berlin by Valentin Stalf and Maximilian Tayenthal. N26 operates as a fully digital bank without a traditional branch network and offers bank accounts, cards, mobile finance management, transfers, savings, investment products, crypto services, insurance, and travel-related options depending on the country. In 2016, N26 received a full German banking license, and today the brand operates in the European market through N26 SE and N26 Bank SE. The company is headquartered in Berlin, and the service is focused on managing money through the app and web interface.
