The logo-emblem of the Russian Traffic Police, part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, is based on an official emblem in a heraldic style. At the center of the composition is a round shield showing a car with red, white, and blue flashing lights against the background of the Russian flag. Behind the shield are two crossed golden swords in scabbards with their hilts facing upward, and the whole composition is surrounded by a three-dimensional laurel wreath. The emblem is made in a golden-brown color palette with detailed hatching, decorative highlights, and raised detailing, which makes it resemble an official departmental badge or a metal award. In the full version, the emblem is accompanied by the blue Russian inscription «ГОСАВТОИНСПЕКЦИЯ МВД РОССИИ» and the Russian words «УВАЖЕНИЕ», «ПРОФЕССИОНАЛИЗМ», «БЕЗОПАСНОСТЬ», meaning «Respect», «Professionalism» and «Safety», but the main visual element remains the round emblem with the car, swords, and laurel wreath.
