The Sber logo was unveiled in September 2020 as part of the company’s full rebrand. It features an open circle with a gradient fill in green, blue, and yellow tones, and a green check mark in the center. According to official information, the check mark symbolizes completion of an action, striving toward a goal, and a focus on results. The circle reflects attention to customer needs, comfort, and the unity of the digital ecosystem. The new visual style was developed by the international agency Landor together with Sber’s team.
Sber (known as Sberbank until 2020) is Russia’s largest financial and technology company. It was founded in 1841 as a state savings bank. Today, Sber provides a broad range of digital and financial services, from traditional banking to e-commerce, cloud platforms, media services, digital healthcare, and education. The company actively develops artificial intelligence and automation initiatives. A majority stake is owned by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. The 2020 rebranding was part of a strategy to transform from a traditional bank into a universal digital ecosystem.
