The Tank logo features a bold “T” enclosed within a rectangular frame resembling a shield or armor plate. The design is strictly minimalist, emphasizing the brand’s off-road strength. Within the composition, a “U” shape is also visible, representing User and United. The “T+U” concept highlights the synergy between advanced technology, durability, and attention to driver needs. The emblem was officially introduced in April 2021 when Tank launched as a standalone division of Great Wall Motors.
Tank is an automotive brand specializing in body-on-frame off-road vehicles, intended for both the domestic Chinese market and exports. Spun off from WEY, it has been positioned as a premium, tech-forward brand from the start. The first model, Tank 300, debuted in 2020, followed by the Tank 500, 400 and 700. The vehicles are built on GWM architectures, equipped with four-wheel drive systems, hybrid powertrains and modern electronic assistance features. Tank is expanding into Russia, the Middle East, Australia and Latin America. The brand’s goal is to create a new generation of SUVs combining comfort, power and digital technologies.
