The logo of Ural Airlines consists of an abstract graphic sign made of three overlapping sharp forms resembling boomerangs. The logo colors are dark magenta or white depending on usage context. The wordmark includes the text URAL in bold italic sans‑serif font, while AIRLINES is rendered in a lighter weight. There is information online that in 2025 a style update may have been made involving refined fonts and composition, but the official website and social media platforms still use this version.
Ural Airlines started in 1943 as the Sverdlovsk aviation unit based at Koltsovo Airport and adopted its current name and brand in 1993. Since then, it has become one of Russia’s largest carriers with a network spanning over 200 destinations across Russia, CIS and international regions. From 2006, the fleet has been modernized by replacing Soviet aircraft with Airbus A320 family jets, and in 2012 the airline opened its own pilot training simulator center. The airline operates a modern fleet of various Airbus models, all undergoing regular maintenance. Ural Airlines is a member of IATA and holds an IOSA safety certificate. It has received multiple industry awards and runs the “Wings of Kindness” charity allowing passengers to donate bonus miles to help those in need.
