Since August 2024, the Russian version of the Wildberries website has featured a new logo: the brand name is written in lowercase letters (wildberries) using a softer, more fluid typeface, while maintaining its signature purple tone in the interface. This is a deliberate attempt to unify the visual style in favor of a more modern and friendly appearance. The older version with capitalized “WILDBERRIES” on a purple background is still used — mainly in mobile apps and offline locations — helping preserve brand recognition, while the online environment gradually adopts the new style.
Wildberries is one of Russia’s largest marketplaces, launched in 2004 by Tatyana and Vladislav Bakalchuk. Originally focused on clothing and footwear, the company quickly expanded its catalog to millions of products. It operates its own logistics network with major warehouses, couriers, and tens of thousands of pickup points across Russia and the CIS. In 2024, Wildberries merged with outdoor advertising operator Russ, strengthening its market presence and expanding its “WB” direction toward IT, logistics, and education. The platform actively invests in automation and new technologies and continues testing rebranding, including the “wb” abbreviation and lowercase identity, to grow internationally and improve user experience.
