The HUMMER logo is presented in capital letters in a heavy rectangular font with sharp angles and truncated letter segments, giving it an industrial and technological appearance. Its visual weight and clear-cut style emphasize power and confidence—qualities traditionally associated with the brand. In the current version, introduced with the electric lineup, the letters feature beveled corners and the middle bar in the letter “E” is rendered as a separate element, visually adding dynamism and referring to themes of electricity. This approach preserves continuity with past HUMMER designs while adapting the image to a new, high‑tech future.
Originally launched as a civilian version of the military HMMWV produced by AM General, HUMMER became part of General Motors in 1999 and led to the production of the legendary H1, H2 and H3 models. Although production ceased in 2010, the brand was relaunched in 2020 as a GMC sub‑brand focused on electric mobility. Today HUMMER is embodied in the HUMMER EV—an electric SUV and pickup built on the Ultium platform, symbolizing a new chapter: from military-grade durability to clean, high‑tech mobility.
