The Koto logo, representing the branding studio, consists of the name drawn to suggest a face. The two round o letters look like eyes, the t between them resembles a nose, and a broad curved band below the lettering forms a smile. The large initial K sits to the left of this group. Rounded corners on the letters and lower curve bring the elements together into a unified drawing. On the studio's website, the symbol appears in bright yellow against a dark background. The black monochrome version preserves the same outlines and works on light backgrounds.
Koto is an international branding studio founded in London, United Kingdom, in 2015. Working across strategy, design and digital products, it helps companies define their positioning, create names and visual identities, develop a verbal identity and apply their brand system across different audience touchpoints. The team brings together designers, strategists, writers, motion designers and digital experience specialists. Its portfolio includes work on Amazon's global brand, the identity of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Instagram wordmark. The studio operates internationally, working with both major companies and new businesses. In September 2026, Koto acquired Stereo Creative, expanding the group's capabilities in sport and entertainment.
