The updated 2026 oneworld logo for the international airline alliance features a deep blue-violet circle with the brand name written in white lowercase letters. The first part of the word, “one”, is set in a heavier weight, while “world” uses a lighter weight, with both parts forming a single word without a space. In the new version, the circle is flat and solid-colored, without the previous highlight, gradient or three-dimensional sphere effect. The core composition remains unchanged: the circular shape, white wordmark and contrast between the heavier and lighter parts of the name continue to be recognizable elements of the brand. The name oneworld literally means “one world”. For many years, the alliance used a blue spherical symbol with a gradient and light highlight, while in 2026 the design was simplified into a flat color treatment without changing the logo’s basic structure.
oneworld is an international airline alliance launched on February 1, 1999 by American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific and Qantas. The alliance brings together major airlines that jointly develop their route networks and provide passengers with shared benefits when traveling with different member carriers, including earning and redeeming miles, access to airport lounges, priority check-in and boarding, and additional baggage allowances for eligible loyalty program members. In 2026, oneworld has 15 member airlines, whose combined network covers nearly 1,000 destinations worldwide. The alliance is managed by oneworld Management Company, whose global headquarters are located in Fort Worth, Texas, USA.
