The “River Transport” logo of Moscow’s public transport is presented as a combination of a graphic mark and a text inscription. The main sign is built as an outlined location marker, inside which there is a circle with a pictogram of a river vessel and waves. Next to it, the name “River Transport” is used, set in the same color in a proprietary sans-serif typeface. The logo is used in two layout options: as the standalone “River Transport” sign, and also paired with the “Moscow Transport” brand marker when it is necessary to emphasize that the service belongs to the unified city transport system.
“River Transport” is the designation for the river transport service and infrastructure in Moscow, used in navigation and passenger information materials. Under this name, river routes, piers, and related city services are combined: wayfinding, timetables, boarding, and other elements of passenger interaction, so that river trips are perceived as part of the city’s overall transport network.
