The HOWO logo, used by the heavy-duty truck brand, combines a geometric symbol and the brand name in its current international version. The symbol is made up of three broad wedge-shaped forms with straight outer sides and angular inner faces. They converge near the center, remaining slightly separated from one another and forming a symmetrical composition. Around them runs a thick outer outline that repeats the overall silhouette of the emblem with a small inset. The name is set in bold, straight uppercase sans-serif letters. In international use, the name HOWO is used for this line, while the form “豪泺” appears in official Chinese documents.
HOWO is one of the main truck brands of SINOTRUK — China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd., a major Chinese manufacturer of commercial vehicles headquartered in Jinan. Within the group, HOWO is linked to Jinan Truck Co., Ltd. and holds an important place in its history: the HOWO series rolled off the production line on October 28, 2004, and the range was later developed into new generations, including HOWO TX. Today, SINOTRUK manufactures trucks, special-purpose vehicles, engines, gearboxes, axles, and other automotive components, develops the Yellow River, Sitrak, and HOWO brands, and supplies its products to more than 110 countries and regions.
