Slack team communication service logo is designed as a combined mark consisting of a graphic symbol and the brand name. The main visual element is the proprietary symbol known as the “octothorpe”, composed of eight separate rounded modules: four elongated bars and four small rounded shapes. These elements form a unified composition and are rendered in four corporate colors — blue, green, yellow, and pink. Next to the symbol, the Slack wordmark is used, set in lowercase letters in a bold sans-serif typeface with soft rounded forms. The current version of the logo was introduced in 2019 and has been used since then without changes to the symbol’s shape, with both full-color and monochrome versions allowed depending on the medium.
Slack Technologies, Inc. is the developer of a corporate platform for team communication and collaboration. The service was launched in 2013 and quickly gained widespread adoption by integrating chats, channels, file sharing, and third-party services into a single workspace. Slack is used by organizations of various sizes to support internal communication, project management, and coordination of distributed teams. In 2021, Slack was acquired by Salesforce, while retaining its own brand and product identity, and continues to develop as one of the key tools for business communication.
