The DENZA logo, used by the premium automotive brand, consists of a circular emblem and the brand name. Inside a silver circle is a blue geometric droplet resembling part of an hourglass: it is wide at the top and bottom, narrows in the middle and has a rounded lower edge. Curved silver elements frame the droplet on both sides, converging toward the center. Beside the emblem, the brand name appears in wide, dark blue uppercase sans-serif letters stretched horizontally. The logo is used in horizontal and vertical layouts, as well as in the form of a standalone emblem. It is available in a three-dimensional-looking version with gradients, shadows and metallic highlights, and a flat, single-color vector version suitable for printing and application to various surfaces. The silver elements depict wings, symbolizing unity and strength. The open upper section represents a readiness for change, while the blue color is associated with the idea of a sustainable future. The current visual identity was introduced during the brand’s refresh in 2022.
DENZA is a Chinese premium automotive brand founded in 2010 by BYD and Daimler. Its Chinese name is Tengshi (腾势), while the letters in DENZA are associated in its international brand positioning with the words Diverse, Elegance, Novel, Zenith and Aspirational, representing diversity, elegance, novelty, the pinnacle and the ambition to achieve more. The brand’s first production electric vehicle was launched in 2014. A new phase of development began in 2022 with the introduction of the premium D9 minivan, followed by the N7, N8 and N9 SUVs, the Z9 sedan and the Z9GT station wagon. In September 2024, BYD acquired Mercedes-Benz’s remaining stake and became the sole owner of DENZA. Today, the brand produces electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids and is expanding its presence beyond China.
